The meet is on for tonight. There is not any severe weather in the forecast for this evening. It will be VERY HOT and HUMID though!! Bring something to drink.

June 23rd, 2010 Meet Update

There is a possibility of thunderstorms during the track meet. If there is thunder and lightning in the area the meet will be canceled. We will run the meet if it is raining and there is not any lightning in the area. If the meet continues in the rain the field events will be canceled.
I will post a weather update on Wednesday at about 4:30pm.

June 9th meet recap.

We had great weather and a good turnout for the first meet of our summer series. Over 60 participants competed and many did multiple events.
Please be patient as we hope to have the results posted here by this Saturday, hopefully sooner. Thank you to all that participated and a special thank you to all of the volunteers that helped out!

June 9th, 2010 Meet Update

The meet is on! It is rainy this morning but the forecast for this afternoon and evening is good. Rain is supposed to move out of the area and forecasters claim that it will dry up and be sunny after noon.
Pole vaulters note: it sounds like there might be a fairly strong quartering head wind.
The track will open for warm-ups at 5:30-5:45.
We still have a need for volunteer timers. Please bring a stopwatch if you're interested in helping out.
